Video Podcasting on the Fly at ARIA

When you’re attending a tradeshow or event, especially in a hub like Las Vegas, it’s easy to get tunnel vision—focusing solely on your booth, your pitch, or your networking goals. But what if you could tap into unexpected opportunities that can elevate your brand even further?

While capturing a recent event at the ARIA Convention Center, we uncovered an unexpected opportunity that reminded us of this important lesson. While covering the event, two prominent podcast teams were attending and asked if we could capturing a collaborative podcast, on the fly.. Instead of sticking to the usual tradeshow video production routine, we decided to get creative and whip something together. We used what we had access to and set up an impromptu but polished podcast recording space right there at the venue.

What came out of it? A dynamic collaboration between the two podcasts that not only delivered engaging content for their listeners but also captured the attention of event attendees. This spontaneous setup allowed both teams to enhance their engagement, grow their audience, and make the most of being at a top-tier Las Vegas event.

Why This Matters for Your Next Event

This experience at ARIA highlights the kind of impact you can make when you think outside the box. Here’s how you can maximize your next tradeshow or event:

  1. Spot Hidden Opportunities: Who else will be at the event? Are there influencers, podcasters, or other brands you could team up with? Collaborative content like this can expand your reach far beyond the event itself.

  2. Stay Flexible: While it’s crucial to have a game plan, being open to spontaneous opportunities can lead to great results. Our quick setup at ARIA wasn’t planned, but it ended up being a highlight of the event for all involved.

  3. Leverage the Power of Video: Events in Las Vegas, especially at venues like ARIA, offer a unique backdrop. Video production isn’t just about capturing the obvious—it’s about creating moments that resonate. Whether it’s a live podcast recording or a quick interview, video helps you connect with audiences on a deeper level.

  4. Engage on the Spot: The impromptu podcast session was highly relevant content for attendees, to engage with, creating buzz right at the event. Real-time content creation is a powerful way to engage your audience and make the most of your presence at any event.

  5. Maximize Your ROI: Tradeshows and events require a significant investment, so why not squeeze every drop of value from them? By staying open to new ideas and collaborations, you can create content that keeps delivering long after the event is over.

The Power of Flexibility in Video Production

Las Vegas events are prime opportunities for creating memorable content, and video is a key player in making that happen. With the right approach, you can turn a standard tradeshow appearance into something much more impactful. Our experience at ARIA is proof that when you stay flexible and seize the moment, you can create content that not only enhances your event presence but also amplifies your brand’s reach.
